cupping_icon These gourmet Nicaraguan beans are dark with light beads of oils, a smooth body and sweet flavor that captures hints of butter, honey, vanilla, and chocolate,  reflecting it's cultivation at high altitude- hence the name “Altisimo”  meaning “The Highest”. We slow roast this coffee to just the right temperature (Full City Plus) at to produce a coffee that bursts with flavor and rolls smoothly off  your palate.
origin_icon The Vida Joven farm is high in the mountains of Northern Nicaraguan between Jinotega and Matagalpa. It’s altitude of 5000 feet provide a cool environment and a longer growing season for coffee, resulting in a dense flavorful bean. The coffee is carefully hand-picked only when fully ripe.

I use the Nica Dark in my espresso machine and it makes a foamy shot. In my press, the flavors are, well, complex and I can't describe it past the
sweet, choco, deep, robust flavors that come out of this coffee.
